The guys from the UK band, The Wanted, are taking over America one city at a time. The five member group having been working very hard to build a name for themselves in the UK and are hoping they can bring their talent into America.

They know they have a long tough road ahead of them, but they are committed to making the jump across the pond. Perez Hilton spoke with the guys about their American dreams. Max George tries to explain, “It’s very important to us. It’s known as the hardest territory to break - so to do that would be phenomenal.” The guys have some competition from fellow British boy band, One Direction. This whole scenario is reminiscent of the competition between the Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync. Isn’t there room enough for both?

The Wanted’s appeal is to an older crowd and project a little more of the party loving image than their counterparts. The talented young men realize it may take a little more than singing to actually “break America.” Jay McGuiness knows show business is not always what it seems, “There’s an element of luck that you can’t control and you just have to keep singing and be nice to people and hopefully it pays off.” There are lots of ladies who would appreciate a little extra niceness from any one of these guys.

The “Glad You Came” singers rocked in Dallas last night and got a little taste of what the Lone Star state has to offer. They are on a mini-tour of the United States and are essentially feeling out the American audiences. So far, the guys have attracted a great deal of attention and the ladies in America like what they see. If America likes what they see, the guys will be back.

Nathan Sykes recently announced he and his cohorts will be stopping by the Chelsea Lately show on February 8. Hopefully they are ready for Chelsea’s questions and can handle her cheeky style.
